Job Description
- As a Senior Program Director at Cognizant's Global Capability Center in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in leading the Program Management activities for large-scale, complex, multi-service programs delivered through offshore delivery centers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing program governance, delivery estimation and planning, tracking progress against metrics, driving business value, and fostering client relationships. You will be responsible for establishing and executing program governance, including stakeholder management, communication ceremonies, benefits management, and change management. Additionally, you will lead the design, build-out, transition, and continuous improvement of the Global Capability Center. Your role will also involve collaborating with the Commercial/Account Team to identify and define business value opportunities for the client and supporting pursuits as needed. To excel in this position, you should have 18-20 years of experience in strategy, operations, process consulting, and project/program delivery within legacy modernization or digital transformations. You should also possess relevant certifications such as PMI, SAFe 5.0, or Prince II. Experience in setting up and operating offshore delivery centers, managing client stakeholders, and delivering complex programs across multiple geographies is essential. Furthermore, you should be adept at stakeholder management, communication, and relationship building, and have a strong understanding of contract management. Your educational background should include an MBA or Masters degree, and you must be legally authorized to work in India without the need for employer sponsorship.
