Job Description
Job Summary:
Exela is looking out for a experienced and certified CPC Trainer to deliver high-quality medical coding education, enhance coder performance, and ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines, along with proven experience in conducting multiple batches of training sessions, hands-on coding experience in ED (or) Surgery (or) E&M will be an added value.
Role & responsibilities
- Conduct engaging coding training sessions (onboarding, refresher, performance-based).
- Develop and update training materials per the latest coding regulations.
- Track trainee progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Stay current with industry coding standards and compliance updates.
- CPC certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience with 25+ training batches.
- Hands-on coding experience in ED (or) Surgery (or) E&M Any one is fine.
- Strong knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Work from Office only.
- Location - Chennai only.
