Job Description

Conduct eye examinations to assess vision and check for eye diseases.
Use specialist equipment for tests and examinations.
Provide advice and reassurance to patients.
Offer help and advice for patients choosing frames and lenses.
Work with opticians in community practices or hospitals.
Keep up to date with new developments in eye care.
Develop excellent hand-eye coordination and a high level of attention to detail.
Good communication skills to explain test results and concepts to patients.
Diploma or Degree in Optometry after 12th Science.
