- Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous Senior Fund Accounting Associate to join our team immediately. As a Senior Fund Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for managing financial tasks related to investment funds. An in-depth understanding of investment accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Fund Accounting: Maintain precise records, reconcile transactions, calculate Net Asset Value (NAV), and accurately record income and expenses. - Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings. - Performance Measurement: Analyze fund performance and generate performance reports. - Valuation: Assess fund assets and ensure correct pricing. - Portfolio Reconciliation: Conduct portfolio reconciliations with banks and brokers. - Investor Relations: Address investor queries and support onboarding processes. - Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and submit necessary reports. - Audits: Prepare for audits and collaborate on reporting activities. - Risk Management: Monitor and report operational and financial risks effectively. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment or fund accounting. - Proficient in attention to detail and ability to identify nuances. - Strong interpersonal skills for client coordination and team collaboration. - Knowledge of private equity or hedge fund accounting is advantageous.
