We are looking for an experienced and motivated Data Engineer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure, and scripting. The ideal candidate should be passionate about solving complex data challenges, optimizing performance, and building scalable solutions.
Location : Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Develop data pipelines, automate data collection and processing tasks.
- Perform data profiling, database performance tuning, and optimization.
- Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Perform data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
- Build and maintain cloud-based data systems and infrastructure.
- Integrate and manage search engines like Elasticsearch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
- Create dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau.
- Apply ensemble modeling techniques to improve model performance.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in NoSQL technologies: MongoDB, Couchbase, PIG, DynamoDB, Azure Table.
- Familiarity with search engine technologies like Elasticsearch.
- Scripting experience in Python or Ruby; experience with Ruby on Rails framework.
- Expertise in database profiling and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon AWS Stack and cloud systems.
- Knowledge of machine learning, data modeling, and analytics.
Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear manner.
- Strong team management and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Prior experience working in a cloud-based data environment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
