Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior UI Developer to join our fast-growing technology team. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role where you will take ownership of front-end architecture, component design, and UI performance optimization. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to build modern, scalable, and high-performing web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js, Redux, and TypeScript
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements and UI/UX wireframes into code
- Optimize UI performance, scalability, and responsiveness across browsers and devices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flow
- Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development
- Take ownership of modules and independently drive them from development to deployment
Must-Have Skills
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in front-end development
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Redux, and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and Webpack
- Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards
- Good understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, and code versioning tools (Git)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Next.js, Storybook, or other front-end tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Understanding of backend basics for better API integration and troubleshooting
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
