 Regional Business Manager (Kolkata)

Job Description

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve regional sales targets in institutional business.
  • Identify and acquire new institutional clients including government bodies, hospitals, large corporates, and public sector undertakings.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with institutional clients.

2. Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with institutional clients and decision-makers.
  • Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and payment collection.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the regional sales team.
  • Assign targets, review performance, and provide guidance to improve productivity.
  • Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams for smooth business operations.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and government procurement policies.
  • Provide regular MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and improvement areas.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, tenders, and rate contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP(Preferred).

Job Location - Based @ Kolkata (Covering Entire East)

Position - RBM

Experience - Working with Govt bodies for minimum 5 yrs.
