Job Description
Department: OPD
Designation: Executive-OPD
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
1) Need to reach Hospital on Time and cross check the cleanliness of Entire Workup & Minor area, need to check the proper working condition of all machines in the workup & minor area.
2) Cleaning of investigation machines and lens with sprits.
3) Ensuring availability of 20D, 90D, 26 G Needle, gloves, torch, forceps, suture removal set, betadin solution, and antibiotic medicines are available and arranged in ordered manner.
4) Coordinating with dilation staffs and review of AR & IOP reading before patient is dilated.
5) Checking Investigation files and making them available to Minor staffs for the procedure.
6) Fallow up of patient undergoing Investigation in Minor room and ensuring timely reporting to Doctors.
7) Ensuring workup room should not be flooded by patient attendants, requesting attendants to sit in waiting area during initial checkup procedure.
8) Talking to patients in case of any turbulence, followed by informing the same to the floor manager.
9) Checking surgery files is not waiting in workup area for prolonging time.
10) Ensuring AR/NCT proper tagging and dilation is done before a patient is taken for pre-checkup before surgery.
11) As a patient care coordinator, you would ensure that patients receive the care they need and that they understand their medical condition, medications, and other instructions.
12) Provide effective, safe and timely appropriate care, coordinating clinics and procedures to meet demand. Monitors delivery of care by completing patient rounds.
13) Collect and document information systematically and comprehensively, through assessment, observation and other sources of data.
14) Through observation and assessment, mobilize members of the multi-disciplinary team to meet identified patient needs.
15) Knowledge of medicine, medicine preparation and discharge procedure.
16) Ensuring all machines should be shut down and covered properly at the end of OPD and Consultation.
