Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio
Expertise in wireframes, storyboards, user flows, site maps
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
Excellent visual design skills & user-system interaction sensitivity
Strong presentation & stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience designing for retail POS, MPOS, self-checkout
Multi-lingual UI support for markets like KSA
Familiarity with React Native (Windows & mobile apps)
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Kanban methodologies
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced UI Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing user interfaces for retail POS, MPOS, and self-checkout solutions. You will work closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools such as Figma.
- Proven UI design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing for retail POS, MPOS, and self-checkout solutions.
- Knowledge of multi-lingual support for markets like KSA.
- Familiarity with React Native for Windows and mobile applications.
- Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Experience with Agile and Kanban delivery methodologies.
