Senior Lead Design Engineer @ Cyient

Job Description

• Expereinced CFD Engineer to lead and support advanced fluid dynamics simulations across various industrial and power plant domains including boliers, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers and fans.
• Bachelors/masters in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of CFD experience, with at least 4 years performing combustion and heat transfer simulations.
• Strong command over CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent, CFX, Star-CCM+.
• Skills in handling complex 3-D geometry, grid generation (ICEM / Fluent mesher / workbench mesher) and post-processing.
• Solid understanding of fluid dynamics and heat transfer. Experience in conjugate heat transfer (CHT), MRF, multiphase flow simulations
• Familiarity with CAD tools and geometry handling using Space claim / Design modeler.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical design, thermal systems, and test engineering.
• Guide and mentor junior CFD engineers and support continuous process improvement.

• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
