Job Description
- As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you will play a vital role in advancing testing responsibilities and contributing significantly to quality assurance efforts. Your expertise will be crucial in developing robust test automation solutions to ensure software reliability and performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement in testing processes. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing complex automated test cases, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts, analyzing test results to enhance test coverage, performing performance and load testing, integrating automated regression testing into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting and resolving automation challenges, documenting test processes and outcomes, contributing to enhancing test methodologies and procedures, tracking software defects using issue tracking tools, analyzing test results to provide insights for improving product quality, and advocating for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field, and have at least 3+ years of experience in the software industry. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/Java or CodeceptJs Framework, expertise in Automation tools like Selenium/Playwright/Tosca/Cypress, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent team collaboration and communication abilities are essential for this role. Additionally, you should possess advanced knowledge in complex test design, Test Design tools like QTest, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab, mentorship capabilities, and proficiency in project management tools like JIRA.
