Job Description
- As an Automation Testing Engineer specializing in mobile applications, your main responsibility is to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile software by designing and executing automated test scripts. Your expertise in testing and automation will play a crucial role in validating the functionality and performance of mobile applications. You will utilize various automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies to contribute to the overall software development process. You will be responsible for implementing automation scripts for the Cucumber framework using the Gherkin scripting language. Additionally, you should have expertise in various types of testing such as Black Box Testing, White Box Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Acceptance Testing, Sanity Testing, Back End Testing, GUI Testing, Adhoc Testing, and API Testing on web services (SOAP and REST). Requirements for this role include a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Mobile Testing using tools like Appium, Selendroid, UIAutomator. Experience in testing React applications and solid knowledge of automation testing in Robot framework are also essential. You should have experience in reviewing business requirement documents, software requirement documents, test cases, and their execution. Collaboration with developers for defect fixing is an integral part of the role. Your technical skills should include a strong understanding of mainframe testing strategies, experience in automation based on WebDriver and TestNG framework with Java programming language, and working on Angular Js testing using protractor. Proficiency in using test automation tools such as Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium Web driver 2.0, Selenium Grid, HP QTP, and Mercury Quality Center is required. Furthermore, you should have knowledge of JUnit, TestNG framework for Unit testing, Maven, and Ant for Project building tool, Jenkins/Hudson for Continuous Integration. Experience in Quality Center/ALM 11.52, defining relationships between requirements, test plans, test lab, test cases, scripts, and defects are essential. Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodology in a cross-functional team with knowledge of Agile software testing and development lifecycle is preferred. Good experience in Functional Testing, UAT, Integration testing, System testing, Exception testing, and Backend Testing of Mobile applications is also required. Knowledge of relational databases and creating SQL queries to view successful transactions of data is beneficial for this role.
