Job Description
- Maxtron is seeking a motivated and talented Junior Blockchain & Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in blockchain technologies and backend development. This contract position lasts 3-4 months, ideal for individuals looking to gain more hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. There is a possibility of full-time employment if the candidate fits our requirements. As a Junior Blockchain & Backend Engineer at Maxtron, you will have the following key responsibilities: Blockchain Development: - Develop and deploy smart contracts using Solidity. - Utilize ethers.js for blockchain interactions. - Implement and manage ERC-721, ERC-1155, and ERC-20 token standards. - Contribute to the overall blockchain architecture and ecosystem strategy. Backend Development: - Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js. - Design and manage databases using Postgres and MongoDB. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience. Collaboration & Communication: - Work closely with project managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team learning and improvement. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Required Skills And Experience: - Minimum 1 year of experience in blockchain development and backend engineering. - Proficiency in Solidity and experience with ethers.js. - In-depth knowledge of ERC-721, ERC-1155, and ERC-20 token standards. - Familiarity with blockchain architecture and ecosystem. - Strong experience in backend development using Node.js and Express.js. - Competence in working with Postgres and MongoDB databases. - Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with other blockchain platforms and frameworks. - Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. - Contributions to open-source projects.
