Designation: Design Engineer
Qualification: Bachelors/Master's degree in civil/Structural Engineering
Experience: 1 to 6 years
Time Period: At the earliest
Job description:
- Experience in analysis, Design & Estimation of Steel/Concrete structures. (Experience in Transmission structures will be added advantage).
- Good knowledge on design standards (Steel & Concrete codes). Experience in American Standards (AISC, ASCE) will be added advantage.
- Read/understand the customer specification and perform the designs as per the fabrication standards.
- Good knowledge on design softwares (STAAD, ETABS, STRAP). Having experience in PLS-Pole, PLS-CADD will be added advantage.
- Responsible for the least weight & least scrap (best optimized) design per the customer specification.
- Requires Co-ordination of Drawings with Detailing and good knowledge on Detailed and Erection/ Fabrication Drawings.
- Good Knowledge on Stress and Loads calculation & Structural design fundamentals.
- Requires good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Key skills required:
- B. Tech/MTech (Civil/Structural) with an emphasis of technical discipline.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced multi-disciplined environment with strong attention to detail and be able contribute to the success of the team.
