Job Description

FINAL INTERVIEW WOULD BE FACE TO FACE ONLY

Location: Ambedkar Nagar (Chennai)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to design test cases and test scenarios.
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  
• Prepare, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  
• Report, track, and document bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  
• Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure effective testing.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  
• Prepare QA metrics and status reports for stakeholders.
  
• Validate production deployments and conduct post-release testing.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
  

Required Skills:

• 46 years of experience in manual testing of web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
  
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
  
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Basic knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
  
• Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  
• Understanding of automation concepts and tools like Selenium (even if not hands-on).
