Job Description
Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Years of Experience: 5 - 12 Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic software development team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and a solid understanding of RAP methodology. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP applications, ensuring high performance and reliability, and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, function modules, and interfaces.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards.
- Enhance existing applications through user exits and BAPI implementations.
- Process IDOCs and optimize performance through tuning and debugging techniques.
- Create and manage batch job scheduling for efficient processing.
- Develop CDS views and back end OData services for custom FIORI applications using RAP methodology.
- Document project specifications, design, and implementation details.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in SAP ABAP programming.
- Experience with RAP methodology and its application in SAP development.
- Strong debugging techniques and performance tuning skills.
- Knowledge of IDOC processing and BAPI integration.
- Familiarity with batch job scheduling and management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Object Oriented ABAP programming.
- Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Fiori Apps development.
- Knowledge of advanced debugging tools and techniques.
- Experience with SAP enhancements and user exits.
- Familiarity with documentation in electronic engineering best practices.
