Job Description
We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Blockchain Subject Matter Expert (SME) to architect, design, and guide enterprise-grade decentralized solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of multiple blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and real-world use cases across industries like BFSI, telecom, supply chain, or public sector. He/She will serve as the go-to technical authority for blockchain solutions and work closely with clients, product teams, and engineering leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical authority on blockchain technologies for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the design and architecture of decentralized systems and smart contract platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend blockchain frameworks (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Quorum, Corda, Polkadot, Solana) based on business requirements.
- Develop and review smart contracts in languages like Solidity, Golang, or Rust.
- Ensure scalability, security, privacy, and compliance in blockchain implementations.
- Guide POCs, MVPs, and full-scale production deployments.
- Work with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, product, legal) to deliver production-ready blockchain solutions.
- Contribute to technical pre-sales, including proposal writing, architecture design, and client presentations.
- Mentor developers and junior architects on blockchain best practices, standards, and development workflows.
- Stay updated on trends like Web3, DeFi, ZKP, CBDC, Layer 2, and assess their strategic fit for the organization.
Required Skills or Qualification:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years in technology roles, with 5+ years in blockchain design and development.
- Deep understanding of consensus mechanisms, tokenomics, on-chain/off-chain data, wallet integrations, and oracles.
- Proven expertise in at least two major blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda, Polygon, Solana).
- Hands-on development experience in Solidity, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Rust.
- Familiar with cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, smart contract audits, and interoperability standards.
- Experience in deploying decentralized applications on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
