Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 (or higher), particularly within the Financials modules. The ideal candidate should have a strong functional understanding of finance business processes and the ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a functional expert for Oracle EBS Financials modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- e-Business Tax (EBTAX)
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle EBS functional solutions.
- Lead or support Oracle Financials implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support projects.
- Perform functional configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Financials modules.
- Work with technical teams to develop and review customizations, extensions, and reports (RICE components).
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Test Scripts, User Manuals, and other documentation as needed.
- Provide training and support to end-users during and after go-live.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and provide ongoing support for Oracle Financials applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SCM, Projects, and technical developers.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives related to financial systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Oracle EBS Financials.
- Strong expertise in R12 (or higher) Oracle Financials modules.
- Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Oracle EBS implementations or upgrades.
- Sound understanding of core financial processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
- Good knowledge of Oracle AIM / OUM or similar implementation methodology.
- Excellent skills in writing functional specifications and test scripts.
- Ability to perform data reconciliation and support data migration activities.
- Familiarity with integration of Financials with other modules (SCM, Projects, HRMS).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
