Job Description
Job Information: Senior Data Engineer (2 positions)
Project Purpose:
Contribute to improving engineering processes, identifying bottlenecks, and accelerating software delivery. Design and implement data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data from diverse sources, ensuring scalability as the engineering organization grows.
Project Duration: 5 months
Positions: 2 x Senior Data Engineers
Responsibilities:
Deep understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing/data lakes;
Build and manage data pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, or similar;
Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services;
Troubleshoot data issues and optimize pipeline performance;
Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
Technical Must-Haves: Proficiency in SQL and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java); experience with ETL and data pipelines on cloud platforms.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
