Job Description
- As a Software Tester at Walstar Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an India based IT company located in Kolhapur, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and report bugs and glitches, contributing to the overall success of our development team. Your duties will include reviewing and analyzing system specifications, collaborating with the Testing Team to create effective strategies and test plans, executing test cases (both manual and automated), and evaluating product code against specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting testing phases and defects, reporting bugs to the development teams, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role, possess a good understanding of Manual and Automation Testing, and be familiar with Agile frameworks and regression testing. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Your organizational skills will be crucial in managing tasks efficiently and ensuring project success. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in BE/BTech in Computer Science, E&TC, Mechanical, MCA, or MTech (graduating in 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025). This position requires 0-1 year of experience and will be based on a full-time work from the office model in Kolhapur. Candidates from nearby areas such as Sangli, Miraj, Islampur, Ichalkaranji, Karad, and Satara are preferred.
