Sr. Big Data Engineer @ ICICI Lombard

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore immediately. If you have a strong background in big data technologies, data processing frameworks, and cloud platforms, we would like to hear from you. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining big data solutions using Hadoop, Hive, and Spark. You will be tasked with creating data processing pipelines with Spark (Scala/Java) and implementing real-time streaming solutions using Kafka. Additionally, working with PostgresSQL for data management and integration will be part of your daily routine. Collaboration with various teams to deliver scalable and robust data solutions is a key aspect of this role. You will utilize Git for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation. Experience in deploying and managing workloads on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms is highly desirable. Moreover, having proficiency in leveraging Databricks for advanced Spark analytics (Databricks Spark certification is preferred) will be advantageous. As a Big Data Engineer, you will also be responsible for troubleshooting data and performance issues while optimizing processes for efficiency.
