Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

- Develop, validate, and maintain discrete event simulation models for process optimization and decision support.- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements based on simulation results.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, define system parameters, and implement simulation-driven solutions.- Conduct experiments and sensitivity analyses using simulation models to assess various operational scenarios.- Interpret and present simulation findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.- Integrate simulation models with real-world data and other analytical tools for enhanced decision-making.- Stay up to date with advancements in simulation techniques, tools, and industry best practices.

Preferred candidate profile:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or a related field.- Experience with discrete event simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, FlexSim, Plant Simulation).- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis.- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, VBA, or Java for model enhancement.- Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics processes.- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
