MEP Site Engineer @ Quantastrat

Job Description

Job Title: Site Engineer Plumbing & MEP

Location:  Aurangabad & Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 2 - 3 Years

Qualification: Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering

Compensation: Up to 3 LPA (Negotiable based on interview)

Role Overview:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing on-site plumbing and MEP work, ensuring projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and follow safety regulations. The role includes coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site execution of plumbing and MEP systems as per approved drawings.

• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors for smooth operations.

• Check material availability and coordinate with procurement when required.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.

• Maintain site documentation, including progress reports and material usage logs.

• Support in planning, tracking, and managing project timelines.

• Identify and escalate on-site issues, suggesting practical solutions.

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety norms and project guidelines.

Education:

• Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years in site execution for plumbing and/or MEP projects

• Experience in residential or commercial projects preferred

Skills:

• Knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe fittings, drainage layouts, and MEP systems

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings

• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach

Competencies:

• Technical: Plumbing execution, BOQ handling, drawing interpretation

• Behavioral: Discipline, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail

• Tools: MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), site-level reporting
