Infection Control Nurse @ Paras Health

Job Description

• Collect and report data on nosocomial infections through daily surveillances & culture reports,
• Prepare reports of findings to the Infection Control Committees
• Reports needlestick injuries and outbreaks.
• Assist in organisation scheduled Hospital Infection Control Meetings & events .
• Monitors cleaning & disinfection practices
• Collects random samples from various disinfectants in use for their efficacy , dialysis fluid , drinking water
• Collects swabs for surveillance of MRSA in HCW
• Collects samples from food handlers for various infections
• Monitors aseptic techniques eg hand washing , patient isolation barrier nursing , & BMW compliance in critical areas ICUs, OT etc
• Collects samples from food handlers for various infections
