Job Description

  1. Provide support for SAP environments, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAP systems and databases.
  2. Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure systems are up to date and secure.
  3. Assist in system performance tuning and optimization to improve the efficiency of SAP applications.
  4. Monitor system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  5. -Collaborate with development and functional teams to support technical integrations and enhancements.
  6. Manage user access and authorizations, ensuring compliance with security policies.
  7. Provide on-call support and resolve critical incidents in a timely manner.
  8. Document processes, procedures, and changes to the system environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support and administration for SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
2. Monitor system landscapes and perform regular health checks to identify and resolve potential issues.
3. Manage and support SAP installations, upgrades, patches, and system migrations.
4. Coordinate and perform system backups, restorations, and disaster recovery processes.
5. Implement and manage user access controls and security settings for SAP environments.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, performance issues, and system downtime incidents.
7. Collaborate with functional teams to support system configurations and enhancements as needed.
8. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
9. Participate in system audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
10. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and end users on SAP BASIS related topics.
11. Assist in project management activities related to SAP system implementation and upgrades.
12. Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends to recommend improvements and optimization.
