Job Description
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (3-5 years of hands-on experience) with expertise in developing automation scripts and frameworks.
- Experience with Python libraries such as requests, Selenium, PyAutoGUI, Pandas, or similar tools for automation and data handling.
- Knowledge of API integration, including working with RESTful services and automating API testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working with automated testing frameworks like PyTest, unittest, or similar.
- Working knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Experience in scripting for automation of manual tasks, testing, or deployment activities.
- Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
- Experience with automation in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to streamline testing, deployment, and operational workflows.
- Identify automation opportunities across teams and develop scalable, reliable solutions.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and IT teams to automate manual tasks and system workflows.
- Develop and execute automated tests to improve product quality assurance processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation scripts for performance, security, and reliability.
- Document automation processes, scripts, and workflows thoroughly.
- Stay current with emerging automation tools, libraries, and best practices in Python.

- Preferred: Familiarity with additional frameworks like Robot Framework or Appium.
APIs & Data Management:
- Extensive experience working with REST APIs, including automation of API testing and validation.
Tools & Platforms:
- Version control systems (Git).
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI.
- Cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP for automation deployment and scaling.
Development Methodologies:
- Agile/Scrum, with experience integrating automation into sprint cycles.
- Process automation and scripting best practices.
Security & Compliance:
- Basic understanding of security considerations in automation scripts and data handling.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Python-based automation testing and scripting.
- Proven experience automating testing for enterprise applications or complex systems.
- Ability to integrate automation solutions across multiple systems and teams.
- Industry experience in financial, healthcare, retail, or technology domains is a plus.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks supporting testing, deployment, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and IT teams to identify automation solutions for manual tasks.
- Execute automated test suites across different environments, analyze results, and report defects.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation scripts to improve speed, reliability, and security.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for scripts, workflows, and processes.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, planning, and retrospectives, ensuring continuous improvement in automation maturity.
- Stay updated on new automation tools, libraries, and best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification or training in Python automation, testing, or related areas is preferred.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt automation practices accordingly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical details clearly.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to new tools, techniques, and evolving project needs.
- High attention to detail to ensure high-quality automation solutions.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
