Job Opening for Control System and Modelling Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Defence

L&T is India s biggest private company supplying defense equipment s with over 40 years of experience in this field. We provide indigenous, design to deliver solutions across defense spectrum from land based weapon systems, air defense and artillery systems, unmanned systems, naval weapon systems, communication systems, avionics, C4I and missile systems.

L&T is developing Tactical / MALE Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Unmanned Underwater Vehicles and ground vehicles. These unmanned platforms provide a technological edge to forces on ground and greatly contribute to our security. Current role is towards the development efforts of these platforms, from inception to user trials and offers immense job satisfaction.

Job Profile / Role Description:

1. Mathematical modelling of Fixed and Rotary Winged Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
2. Algorithm development of multi agent swarms like flocking, foraging etc.
3. Navigation and path planning algorithms
4. Control system design and stability analysis
5. Flight dynamic study and analysis
6. Software integration, testing and tuning on UAV s
7. Experience: 0 to 5 years

Mandatory Skills:

1. Technical prowess in Aerodynamics and flight controls
2. Close loop control
3. Hands on expertise on Matlab / Simulink

Academic Background:

1. B. Tech. / M. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering
2. PhD in Aerospace and Controls

Other Details:

1. Location: Powai, Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune
2. Travel: 10% of the time depending on requirement
