Job Description


The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance. The role will provide strategic HR leadership, consulting, and support to the business, working closely with leadership teams to address people-related challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Partnership:
    • Partner with senior leadership teams to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and leadership effectiveness.
    • Identify and address key talent needs, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
  2. Employee Relations & Performance Management:
    • Lead the resolution of employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
    • Support leadership in managing high-performance teams by providing coaching on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance management.
  3. Change Management & Organizational Development:
    • Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth, restructuring, or organizational change.
    • Collaborate with leaders to design and implement organizational development programs that foster continuous learning and development.
  4. Talent Management & Development:
    • Ensure effective implementation of talent management strategies, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee development programs.
    • Partner with the Learning & Development team to identify skill gaps and create programs to address developmental needs across the organization.
  5. HR Metrics & Reporting:
    • Analyze HR data and key performance metrics to provide insights and drive informed decision-making.
    • Track and report on the effectiveness of HR initiatives, including employee engagement, retention, and performance metrics.
  6. Compliance & Best Practices:
    • Ensure adherence to local labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
    • Monitor and manage risk related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Experience: 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3-4 years in a strategic HRBP role, preferably in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in logistics industry, with a solid understanding of industry trends and challenges.
  • Skills:
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
    • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to drive organizational change and influence leadership decisions.
    • Expertise in talent management, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
