Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Packaging Executive to oversee and manage packaging operations in our food production unit. The ideal candidate will ensure that all packaging activities comply with food safety regulations, quality standards, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily packaging activities to ensure timely and efficient output.
- Monitor the packaging process for compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the production, quality control, and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflow and inventory management.
- Inspect packaging materials for quality and coordinate with suppliers when necessary.
- Maintain packaging equipment and ensure proper functioning with minimal downtime.
- Prepare packaging documentation, labels, and batch codes as per regulatory and internal standards.
- Implement cost-effective packaging solutions and continuous process improvements.
- Train and supervise packaging staff to maintain hygiene and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with R&D and marketing teams on packaging innovations and design updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in packaging operations, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of food packaging materials, machinery, and regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with FSSAI, BRC, ISO 22000, and related guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
