Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level technical guidance and support for IBM AIX operating system and storage infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain IBM AIX and storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex IBM AIX and storage issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure IBM AIX and storage infrastructure meets business requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IBM AIX and storage procedures.
• Install, configure, and manage IBM AIX operating system.
• Design, implement, and manage storage solutions using IBM Storwize, IBM DS8000, and IBM Tape Storage.
• Troubleshoot storage issues, including performance and availability. Implement and manage storage security, including access control and encryption.
• Monitor and optimize storage performance and capacity.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience with IBM AIX operating system and storage technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM AIX and storage technologies, including IBM Storwize, IBM DS8000, and IBM Tape Storage.
• Troubleshoot IBM AIX issues, including performance and security.
• Implement and manage IBM AIX security, including access control and auditing.
• Upgrade and migrate IBM AIX systems.

Mandatory Certification in IBM AIX

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Scripting /Automation of daily operational tasks.
