Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and related technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services and APIs that power our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems using Java.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end functionalities and external integrations.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding standards and architecture.
- Ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of backend development experience using Java.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
- Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Understanding of security practices and performance tuning.
