Job Description

You will be joining Hitasoft, a web and mobile application development company, as an experienced Ruby on Rails (ROR) developer located in Madurai. Your primary responsibility will be to create exceptional products and projects. To excel in this role, you should possess three to four years of solid experience as a ROR developer. Your expertise should include working with Ruby on Rails, along with libraries such as Resque and RSpec. It is essential that you have the ability to write clean Ruby code and are proficient in using code versioning tools like Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial. Additionally, your skills should extend to working with technologies like AngularJS or BackboneJS, and you should be familiar with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM concepts. A good understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 is crucial. Knowledge of server-side templating languages like Slim and Liquid will be an added advantage. As a Ruby on Rails developer at Hitasoft, your responsibilities will include designing and developing new web applications, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing ones. Your tasks will involve writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code, integrating data storage solutions, and creating back-end components. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs, integrating user-facing elements from the front-end team, and connecting applications with additional web servers. Maintaining APIs will also be part of your role.,
