Software Developer (Backend) @ Presidency University

Job Description

As a Back-end Developer, you will be involved in the entire application lifecycle with a primary focus on coding and debugging. Your responsibilities will include writing clean code to develop functional web applications, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and performing UI tests to optimize performance. Additionally, you will manage cutting-edge technologies to enhance legacy applications and collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. You will gather and address technical and design requirements, provide training and support to internal teams, and build reusable code and libraries for future use. Collaboration with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features will be crucial, along with staying updated on emerging technologies. The ideal candidate for this role should have proven work experience as a Back-end developer, possess a deep understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment), and have hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, NodeJS, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Strong analytical and time management skills are essential, along with teamwork skills and a problem-solving attitude. A positive attitude, good communication, and interpersonal skills are also key attributes for success in this role.
