Selenium Automation Tester @ Skillmine

Job Description

You will be working as a Selenium Automation Tester for a global technology consulting and digital solutions company based in Chennai. The company focuses on helping businesses utilize digital technologies to transform business models, foster innovation, and achieve growth across various industries through digital transformation, consulting, and application development. As a Selenium Automation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java. You will be creating test cases from user stories, executing them to identify defects, and collaborating with development and QA teams to establish effective test plans. Additionally, you will be executing automated tests, analyzing results, and suggesting areas for improvement. Your role will also involve implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes, debugging and resolving issues in automated tests and environments, and ensuring the overall quality of the software. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in software automation testing. Proficiency in Java and Selenium is essential, and prior experience with API Testing and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are also required to excel in this role. This is a contract-to-hire position with a hybrid work mode, where you will have the opportunity to work in a virtual interview setting. The company is looking for immediate joiners who can start within 15 days of selection.
