Mainframe IMS DB2 System Programmer @ Kyndryl

Job Description

• 7 to 10 Years of professional experience in IMS and DB2 System programming.
• BMC COPE and IBM tools for IMS and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with IMS/DB2 performance monitoring and automation.
• Establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, DR, maintenance and utilization
• Strong knowledge of IMS/DB2 utilities, backup/recovery processes, and database tuning techniques.
• Expertise in IMS Full Function, HALDB, Fast Path, DB2 for z/OS, and various IMS/DB2 utilities.
• Manage IMS database structures (VSAM, OSAM, HALDB, Fast Path, GSAM), DB2 storage, locking, and referential integrity.
• Disaster recovery planning, log archive management, DBRC utilities, and forward recovery.
• Experience with Tools: IBM DB2 V12+, IMS V15, IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (CDC), Query Monitor, SQL Performance Analyzer.
