Job Description
- Responsible for healthy revenue, pipeline and gross margin
- Works closely with Sales, Business development to grow existing accounts and identify, mature new accounts across verticals like Oil and Gas, power, mineral processing, chemicals etc
- Actively participates in Customer visits, showcase, scoping etc to enable new customer wins and expand existing customer relations
- Proactive identification of Industry trends - technology, demands, standards, tools etc, plan and implement
- Works closely with corporate cross functional teams to design, implement and control technical Roadmap for Plant engineering Practice
- Lead estimations, proposals to win and establish strong project basis for success
- Build, implement and continually improve the plant design and engineering processes, documentation with compliance to international quality certifications
- Acquire and establish plant design and engineering codes and standards
- Acquire and establish the needed plant design and engineering tools
- Recruitment of right managers, engineers and designers
- Establish Technical Competency development by means of Mentoring, coaching, training etc of Associates
- Enable all projects to be successful
- Lead Large and Critical Project Review meetings
- Lead and enable inter discipline coordination, Technical Issue resolutions, Technical Customer escalations etc
- Identify and develop new and special disciplines
- Flexibility to work from any location and no constraints to travel
- Establish and develop consultants and contract staff
Required Candidate profile
- Significant Plant design and engineering experience for full lifecycle of the plants, Skids, process units, offsites and utilities, tankyards etc from FEED to detail engineering, construction, procurement etc
- Experience in working with global customers and global project locations
- Expertise in global delivery model
- Experience in engineering, projects, procurement and construction areas
- Significant knowledge in Industry trends, standards, tools, processes and Projects
- Exposure to all global codes, standards and Statutory rules, certifications like ASME, EN, DIN, BS, IS, PED, AD Markblatter, IBR etc
- Exposure to latest tools and technologies like MS Project, PRIMAVERA, E3D, PDMS, PDS, SmartPlant, CAESAR, Intools, Hysis, Pipeflow, PV Elite, Etap, STAAD, AutoCAD, Microstation, PDM/PLM, special tools for torque tightening, thickness calcualtions etc
- Expert in any one or two disciplines of engineering and significant knowledge in all other disicplines
- Technical Mentoring and Coaching, Team Competency development
- Process oriented and metrics driven
- Highly customer oriented
