Job Description

Senior Privacy Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Role Purpose
The Senior Specialist - Data Protection will ensure the security and privacy of the organization's data. This role involves developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities : Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
Conduct data protection assessments and audits.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to address data protection issues.
Provide training and support to data protection tool users.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Data Protection, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data protection.
Knowledge of data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification.
Experience with data protection in a multinational corporation.
Master's degree in Data Protection or related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
Proficiency in data protection tools and methodologies.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
