Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Java Developer to join our growing technology team in Gurugram. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications that power our platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based applications and microservices.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Contribute to improving our existing codebase and architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Java development and related areas.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to the development of automated unit and integration tests.
- Work with databases (both relational and NoSQL) and ensure efficient data management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in one or more Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Jakarta EE.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and self-learning attitude.
Good to Have:
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
