Job Description
- Data Modeling Developing conceptual, logical and physical data models that meet the business requirements.
- Database design - To optimize data storage, retrieval and performance in relational data databases, NoSql databases, Data warehouses, Data lakes (or Lakehouse).
- Data integration Integrating data from various sources such as internal databases, external APIs, third-party services.
- Data Migration - Must have experience of SQL Server to Azure migration and SSIS to ADF migration
- Data governance Implementing data governance policies, standards and procedures to ensure data catalog, data quality, data security (encryption and data masking if required), compliance and privacy.
- Data architecture strategy to develop data architecture in Data Warehouse / Data Lake /Data Lakehouse solutions using emerging technologies of Cloud Big data technology stack (E.g.: Azure ADLS gen2, Spark ETL, Python, Data factory and Synapse analytics, Data governance and Security tools).
- Collaboration Must be able to work as individual contributor and working closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, ETL and BI developers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Performance tuning - Monitoring and optimizing the performance of database systems, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Data security - Implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, breaches and cyber threats. This involves implementing encryption, authentication and access control mechanisms.
- API integration experience and EAI etc.
- Worked on Synapse analytics and has understanding of MS Fabric
- Biztalk, Mulesoft etc. not required - only person should know the concept of it.
