Job Description
Responsibilities: Design and implement data pipelines/ ETLs in Python, MSSQL server, Azure/ AWS as needed. Manage the architectural design and development for the companys future unified BI system. Extricate data pipeline and modelling requirements for business intelligence solutions. Develop and orchestrate scripts as needed using Git and Airflow, in both Unix and Windows based environments. Manage end to end life cycle of BI products, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities, for assigned projects. Model data according to Kimball or Inmon methodologies, in support of Business Intelligence projects. Ensure data and report integrity by implementing and adhering to industry best practices, and quality control processes. Partner with other data engineers, developers, infrastructure specialists and customers within a dynamic group setting. Identify and document data ingress and egress patterns, model production workloads, perform cost-benefit analysis, and make architectural recommendations as relevant to Business Intelligence operations. Participate in scrum ceremonies, customer demos and team events as required. Qualifications: Bachelor in Data Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or equivalent. Role & responsibilities
