Software Engineer - Automation Testing @ IT Services

Job Description

Key Skills: Automated Testing, Java, Selenium, API Testing

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various applications
• Collaborate with the Scrum team to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
• Conduct API automation testing using tools such as Tosca
• Utilize SQL for database testing and validation
• Manage and track defects using bug tracking and test management tools
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, ensuring adherence to manual QA processes
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance testing efficiency
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress and results

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in automated testing frameworks and scripting
• Proficiency in API automation testing using tools like Tosca or similar
• Solid knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD integration
• Understanding of manual QA processes and how they complement automation
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools
• Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in Agile/Scrum environments

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
