we are looking for medical coders
Medical Coder (3-5 Years Experience) (3A) - Medical Coder / Senior Medical Coder
About the role:
As a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of medical coding processes. You will review and assign codes to complex medical records, resolve coding discrepancies, and contribute to process improvements. You will also provide guidance to junior coders and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient medical records.
- Review and resolve coding discrepancies and denials.
- Ensure compliance with coding regulations and payer guidelines.
- Maintain high coding accuracy and productivity.
- Provide guidance and training to junior coders.
- Participate in coding audits and quality assurance activities.
- Stay updated with coding changes and industry trends.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Medical Coder/Medical coding - Multiple coding / Application coding
Certification one of the following:
AHIMA: CCS, CCS-P, RAC or AAPC: CPC, CRC, CIC
Advantage IPRDG(PCS coding) is important
(HCC not required)
Application to be well versed with - M3, Codify, CCI Edits
- Any graduate is fine as long as they have a certification with relevant experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical coding.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using coding software and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Shift timings US shifts 5.30pm-2.30am/6.30 -3.30am
Excellent comm
Work location - Mangalore or Bangalore
Mode - As of WFO. Ops will confirm if WFH is allowed or not
Minimum 3 yrs experience. Multiple applications knowledge, Audits and query with client.
As per California- sensitive services (e.g., reproductive health, mental health, gender-affirming care)
SALARY - 6LPA CTC
