Job Description
- The Senior Software Developer will have the opportunity to join a product development team that is dedicated to creating highly configurable software within a collaborative environment that utilizes Agile development methodologies. In this role, your primary focus will be on the design and development of the Passport Platform. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing modifications and enhancements to the core WK ELM Solutions software products as part of a team effort. You will also be tasked with developing core application frameworks for all of ELM's product lines and actively participating in efforts to continually improve our software solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor more junior team members or 3rd party contract resources in development best practices. To be successful in this role, a B.S. in Computer Science is preferred, although candidates with a bachelor's degree in a related discipline or relevant experience will also be considered. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Object-Oriented Development, with a preference for experience in Java for web application development. Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development is essential, along with experience working with SQL Server or Oracle databases. Your experience should also include web development using JavaScript and Java server-side technologies such as J2SE/J2EE. Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, and Hibernate is required, as well as expertise in Frontend Technologies like Angular or React JS. Previous experience in developing commercial, enterprise software will be highly beneficial.
