Application Modernization Practice is a horizontal practice, supporting all business verticals in Luxoft.e are looking for a Senior System Analyst who will be able to work with different domain zones.or this project we have an ambitious goal to migrate a legacy system written in HLASM (High-Level Assembler) from the mainframe to a cloud-based Java environment for one of the largest banks in the USA. esponsibilitiesevelop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow; ecovering the design, requirement specifications and functions of a system from an analysis of its code (currently High-Level Assembler, Cobol in the nearest future); ranslate non-technical requirements into clear technical specifications; onvert low level code descriptions into meaningful functional requirements; rganize requirements into features and stories; aintain knowledge base for the system and the project; articipate in the optimization of internal team processes; andatory work from the office 5 days per week. kills
Must have echnical background is a must; ust be ready to deep dive into High-Level Assembler code to reverse engineer requirements; ust be able to provide concise and coherent documentation in English (target audience is native speakers); ust be able to enhance requirements with models and diagrams as needed e expect from the candidate t least 3 years of experience in a BA/SA role; nalytical mindset; nderstanding of and practical experience with different types of requirements and their representation; ood understanding of non-functional requirements; bility to communicate in both business and technical languages; igh level of seniority when dealing with complex tasks; xperience in analyzing and documenting integrations; xperience of working on projects with international stakeholders (USA, UK); ood theoretical and practical knowledge of analytical tools (functional/non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, UML). ice to have xperience with IBM zOS mainframe nderstanding of IBM High-Level Assembler, COBOL xperience with microservices architecture, message brokers
