Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure seamless operation of critical building systems across our site portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system performance checks.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Coordinate MEP site works, installations, and commissioning activities with contractors and internal teams.
- Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance logs, fault reports, and system performance summaries.
- Update asset registers, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety standards, SOPs, and local regulations.
- Supervise third-party vendors, verify SLA adherence, and evaluate service quality.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and emergency response protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or equivalent). -35 years of hands-on experience in MEP facility management or site-based engineering.
- Proven experience in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection maintenance.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and commissioning processes.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local codes) and compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) or smart building technologies.
- Certification in Facility Management (FM), OSHA, or energy efficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, or CMMS tools.
