Job Description
- The ideal candidate for this role will have the responsibility to advise clients on accounting and financial reporting standards such as Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP. You will be involved in assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards, preparing technical accounting memos, and position papers. Additionally, you will play a key role in GAAP conversion engagements, specifically from Indian GAAP to Ind AS, IFRS, or US GAAP. Drafting and reviewing financial statements in compliance with relevant GAAP will also be part of your duties. You will be required to conduct impact assessment studies and deliver training on new standards to clients. To qualify for this position, you should hold a CA (Qualified) / CPA / ACCA qualification with a minimum of 5-14 years of experience in Accounting Advisory, Audit, or Financial Reporting. A strong understanding of Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP is essential. Familiarity with SEBI and regulatory reporting frameworks would be advantageous. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must, while knowledge of Power BI is considered a bonus. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills are required for this role. The ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Prior experience with Big 4 or mid-size consulting firms is preferred.,
