Job Description
- As a Software Development Engineering - Professional I at Fiserv, you will have the opportunity to work as a senior developer within a team, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications that integrate with Oracle Database. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code, assisting in software solution design and implementation, participating in code reviews and debugging, troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with 6 to 10 years of experience as a Tech Lead or senior developer. You should possess knowledge of core Java/J2EE concepts and programming principles, as well as familiarity with databases, SQL, Java Development tools, and IDEs. Experience with tools and frameworks such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Kafka is essential, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ideally, you will have full stack developer experience in digital tech stack including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Core Java, Springboot, Scala, React, Angular, PostgreSQL, Cockroach, etc. You should also have significant experience in developing APIs and Micro Services on cloud platforms, along with familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, JIRA, SonarQube, TDD/BDD, Docker & Kubernetes, and Kafka. Additionally, advanced intermediate level proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading English, as well as Agile development experience, would be beneficial for this role.
