Job Description
- You are a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Tester (Team Lead) with over 1 year of experience, looking to join our QA team. Your main responsibilities will include planning, executing, and overseeing software testing activities, while also leading a team to ensure the highest quality standards for our products. In this role, you will mentor junior testers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements in testing methodologies. Your key responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. You will identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools to ensure timely resolution. Collaboration with developers, business analysts, and project managers is essential to ensure test coverage and alignment with requirements. Additionally, you will lead and mentor QA team members, providing guidance on best practices and testing techniques, as well as performing root cause analysis for defects and suggesting preventive measures to improve product quality. Continuous review and enhancement of QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks will be necessary to increase efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with significant experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing. Strong knowledge of the software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle, and QA methodologies is required, in addition to excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven leadership skills are also essential for managing and motivating a QA team effectively. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the specified location.
