Job Description
- Manage and oversee daily IT operations, including network administration, system maintenance, helpdesk support, and infrastructure management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Lead and mentor the IT operations team, ensuring continuous skills development and effective resource management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align IT services with business goals and objectives.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Manage IT service delivery, including incident management, problem management, change management, and asset management.
- Oversee IT security protocols and disaster recovery plans to protect company data and maintain business continuity.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Prepare and manage IT operations budgets, including cost optimization and procurement.
- Generate reports and dashboards on IT operations performance for senior management.
- Stay updated on emerging IT trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operations, IT service management, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and disaster recovery planning.
- ITIL Foundation or higher
- PMP or other project management certification
- CISSP, CISM, or other security certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or equivalent cloud certifications
