IoT Solutions Engineer @ ZS

Job Description

You will be joining Zenatix, a leading provider of IoT based automation and monitoring solutions with a strong presence in India. Recently acquired by Schneider Electric, Zenatix is now a part of the Schneider Electric family. The company focuses on developing full stack IoT automation solutions for commercial buildings, emphasizing energy efficiency, temperature compliance, and asset management. As an IoT Solutions Engineer at Zenatix, you will be responsible for handling BMS (Building Management System) and automation projects. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation, along with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in BMS, automation systems, or IoT-based systems. Your role will involve conducting detailed site surveys, preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and estimating project scopes for BMS/Automation projects. Candidates with experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS will be given preference. You will work with various field instruments such as DDC controllers, PLCs, sensors, and control valves. Having a good understanding of communication protocols like RS485, BACnet, SNMP, LAN, Ethernet, and experience in integrating hardware devices over these protocols will be essential. Strong computer skills and proficiency in English communication are also required for this role. Your responsibilities will include understanding Zenatix's IoT-based systems, conducting site surveys, filling survey forms, and coordinating with the operations team for project deployments. You will need to prepare installation locations, wiring layouts, integration mapping points, and other planning documents for on-site execution. This role may require travel to sites on an as-needed basis.
